Modern status of energy equipment availability and reliability statistics

The reasons the traditional order of gathering and processing of statistical data have been cancelled are considered. It is shown that the treated power units and basic established equipment statistical information promotes acceptance of adequate administrative decisions on availability planning, increase of the equipment efficiency, manufacture and purchase of spare parts. The situation formed with statistics in domestic electric power industry is compared to existing foreign systems of the statistical data account and processing. Recommendations on restoration and development of the domestic power equipment statistical databases are offered.

Critical analysis of reforming of electric power industry of Russia

Short-term forecasting energy consumption of power systems by artificial neural networks

This article presents possibility of short-term forecasting power system energy consumption with neural network applying. A methodology of selection neural network optimal configuration with help of genetic algorithm is offered. Forecasting of energy consumption of power systems of Kuzbass, Krasnoyarsk and Irkutsk was made and forecast accuracy was calculated.

Earth fault protection in a stator winding of generators in power stations of interconnected power system of Siberia

Long-term experience of development and operation of earth fault protection in a winding of stator of generators in power stations OES of Siberia is generalized. As the basic method of protection application of a direct current or an alternating current with frequency of 25 Hz in primary circuits of stator is used. Applying a direct current is used for the turbogenerators which are working in the block with the transformer and not having galvanic connection with an external network or with other generators. Operating experience of protection with applying a direct current with the device for the continuous control of equivalent resistance of stator circuits relative to the ground has shown that it has properties of revealing some defects and damages in an early stage. Implementation of a checking current with frequency of 25 Hz can be applied in electroinstallations with a resonantly earthed neutral. On the basis of this method the protection of the generators working on busbar, of hydrogenerators with a resonantly earthed neutral, including in the integrated blocks with the generators working in parallel to one winding of a low voltage of the transformer are realized. Now in most cases the method of application of a checking current is used in structure of the complex digital devices of relay protection which are produced by Ekra Ltd.

Algorithm for assessing the technical efficiency of the differential current protection

An analysis of the operation of differential relay protection (RP) is fulfilled. The main sources of interference (imbalance) are no controlled scheme, design, and operating condition parameters sensors (current transformers) and transversal parameters of the protected equipment and lines. Variations of these parameters cause dependent on through current the multiplicative errors that are identified in differential circuits of RP. In its pure form there are added the errors at the expense of transverse parameters (capacitive leakage lines, transformer magnetization value items). Compensation-tuning activities can lead to a reduction in the basic properties of RP as sensitivity, operating speed, selectivity. Therefore it is necessary objective quantitative assessment both a method for constructing RP and measures for its improvement. An algorithm for evaluation of the technical effect and technical efficiency are the criteria for the usefulness of introduced RP. The technical effect is a difference of potential effect and losses due to refusal operations, the false and unnecessary actions, and technical efficiency is rate the technical effect to the potential effect. It is presented an example of the results the using of the algorithm.

In article the problem of discrepancy of the data on times of clearing of an arch is considered at single-phase fault on overhead transmission line 500 kV, received by settlement way according to the theory about a current of additional charging of an arch, to the fact sheet collected for 15 years the Interconnecting dispatching office of the Energy Systems of Siberia.

Recommendations on selecting of regimes and alarm settings are made.

The topic of the article is the history of establishment and development of Russia's most legendary energy system. The foundation was laid at the end of the 19th century when one of Russia's first hydroelectric plants was built in the Bodaibinskiy district of the Irkutsk province. In the middle of the 20th century, the construction of the Irkutsk HPS gave rise to development of major energy industry. Launch of the largest hydroelectric plants of the Angara Cascade - Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk stations, - enabled large-scale industrialization of the Priangarie and social, economic and cultural development of the Irkutsk region.
